Its October! Wahoo!
We've had a great start to this new season! Thank you for joining us this year and letting us be a part of your lives.
OCTOBER BREAK
The studio will be closed for October Break, October 4-8. We encourage at home practice during this time and may even send out practice videos for the students since the Halloween Show is quickly approaching.
IMPORTANT DATES
October 25th is our annual Halloween Show. All classes and companies get to participate in this exciting performance (SDA classes do not participate in this, because they have their productions in The Fuse Box on Oct. 27). We know it seems quick to already have a show, but we like to get our students on stage right away so they can start gaining confidence and experience right away. We hold the show at the Superstition Springs outdoor ampitheater. We also have a stage rehearsal the Saturday before on October 23rd. Please reserve these dates in your calendar. And yes, the performance is on a Monday so students will not attend their regular class that day because we will all be getting ready for and participating in the performance.
Saturday October 23 8:00-10:00am time frame
Monday October 25 5:30-7:30pm time frame
POSSIBLE EXTRA REHEARSALS FOR SOME CLASSES
Some classes may be asked to attend an extra rehearsal on Friday or Saturday. If this is your class, you will get that message separately.
PERFORMANCE DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
You will receive costume details and instructions in a separate message that is class specific. Some costumes assignments require you to use items you may already have at home. For some classes we may send an Amazon link for you to purchase directly on your own. Dont worry, we keep things very simple and inexpensive. Especially for the Halloween Show. Your class will also get a makeup assignment and hair styling instrctions. Arrival times for the Saturday rehearsal and the Monday performance will be sent out as we get closer, but be sure to block out the times above so you're available.
REGISTRATION FEE
When you signed up, there was a notice that the annual registration fee would be charged after the first month of classes instead of at the time of registration. We wanted to give time for people to get settled into the correct class/level. The registration fee is just $35/family. This fee will be charged on October 4 to the CC that you have on file with us. If you see more than one charge, please notify us. Those of you that may have accidentally made a duplicate account or signed up under different emails could possibly see this. We can help you right away if this does happen to be the case for you.
